Rowan's 7th Birthday

We celebrated Rowan's 7th birthday by inviting over 7 of Rowan's friends. Having 8 screaming 7-8 year olds in our apartment was an adventure! Overall, the kids were surprising well-behaved. I only feel sorry for our downstairs neighbors as the sheer volume of noise coming from our apartment must've been astounding... On his actual birthday (25th) it was just the three of us... Rowan loved all his gifts!! We are terrible with Thank-yous (I'm sure everyone reading this is nodding in agreement...) so we'll thank everyone veeerrry publicly here-
First to arrive was a cool SpiderMan (!) card & check from Aunt Kay- Thank you!! Rowan has decided he will get some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle play swords on our next trip to ToysRUs...
Next came the Cranium Caboodle game; we look forward to many playful evenings!- Thank you Kathleen, Joe, Nolan and Maeve!
Then the Star Wars (The Complete Saga) game for the Nintendo DS, hasn't put it down since he opened it- Thank you John, Ann, Johnny & Molly!
Next came the Rock Em', Sock em' Robots- what a hit! (ohhh, bad pun...)- Thank you Oma & Opa!
Then came some very cool jeans and sweaters- oh my, he looks like a teenager! A stylish teenager- Thank you Grandma & Pop!
Finally a set of (American!) baseball cards arrived (things like this in english are "hot" at school... also, these were so nostalgic for me!)- Thank you Jay, Angela, Ashley & Cody!
